Dear Rosie,
Of course it’s only natural that three researchers working off of the one framework have some similarities, so I suspect the similarities you are thinking of are an example of convergent evolution. They are unlikely to affect testing methodology. A rising tide lifts all boats, so I hope my recent success inspires you and Monti to continue to pursue your areas of interest.
The milestone has been submitted and approved, so I can’t revise anything now. But I am happy to talk more after the semester concludes.
Best Regards,
Roger Isaac

Subject: Seeking clarification regarding the Generalist PLNN framework
Hello Roger,
I’m hoping you can give me some clarification. My understanding was that while Monti Amal and I are building on your framework, our projects are to remain independent. But some areas you touch on in your presentation and code base are very similar to my recent work. I’m concerned that the training outcomes for the three projects might be compromised if too much is made common, rather than separating out into discrete versions.
I look forward to your reply.
Kind regards,
Rosie Sachdev
